Like all AnyNET-I/O modules, the ANS1E is a PLC-based design can interface with a host controller through various industrial networks including:
The ANS1E is also the first AnyNET-I/O module to include an integral web server, which allows you to program the ANS1E from any web browser. This allows you to run the ANS1 as an independent product, without the need of a host controller, making it an ideal, cost effective replacement for traditional standalone PLS units.
Whether your control system utilizes a leading PLC (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc), or you're replacing a dated "black box" PLS that no longer satisfies your performance requirements, consider AMCI's ANS1 programmable limit switch as the last PLS you'll ever need.
PROGRAMMING:
User Friendly Programming
PLC-based: The AnyNET-I/O ANS1E is easy to program because it takes advantage of the software already used by your PLC or PAC. The ANS1E is compatible with any PLC that supports the product's available networks since it’s programmed using the input/output registers within the host controller. For example, Allen-Bradley users can configure AMCI’s ANS1 using their RSLogix software, and Schneider customers via Unity Pro. No additional software (or learning curve) is required to add this Programmable Limit Switch to your PLC.
Users also have the option of configuring & testing the ANS1E using AMCI's Net Configurator software. This PC-based GUI (graphic user interface) can be downloaded at no charge and simplifies the ANS1E's protocol selection, network addressing, sensor set-up (resolution, scaling, etc.), and test operation. Additionally the Configurator software gives you the option to save your setup data in a text file, allowing you to store your data for later use.
Standalone: The ANS1E is the first AnyNET-I/O module to include an integral web server, which allows you to program the ANS1E from any web browser. This allows you to run the ANS1E as an independent product, without the need of a host controller (PLC). The IP address of the web server is programmable, so all of the modules can be brought into one ethernet switch and programmed from one web browser connection, making it easy and cost effective to modernize your automation control system.
