Job Summary:
The Industrial Electronics Repair/Test Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing industrial electronic equipment and systems, including PLCs, motor drives, control systems, and power supplies. You will work closely with engineers and other technical team members to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting of industrial electronics equipment.
  • Repair and replace faulty components, including circuit boards, motor controllers, and sensors.
  • Conduct functional and performance testing of repaired equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Document repair processes, test results, and maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with engineers and senior technicians to improve repair processes and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Support the assembly and installation of industrial electronics as needed.
  • Provide technical support to customers as required.
  • Stay updated on new technologies, repair techniques, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electronics repair and testing is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuit analysis, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, motor drives, and control systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience working with high-voltage systems and safety protocols.
  • Certifications in industrial electronics or related fields.
