NEXUS Network Ready Packaging Controller

The AMCI NEXUS brand Digital Programmable Limit Switch (PLS)
for packaging integrates high-speed programmable
limit switch functions with a direct network interface. The
need for precise, repeatable output control requires a PLS
controller to operate independently yet communicate data and
status to the main packaging system controller. Program files
are downloaded for all output setpoint functions while operational
data is available over the network.
This network ready digital PLS uses an incremental encoder
as the machine position sensor. Many software functions are
included i.e. speed compensation, eight modes of output control
and Motion Anding.

Notes:
1. The +24Vdc pin (pin 9) is directly
connected to the +24Vdc pin on the Power Connector.
2. If your encoder operates from a
5Vdc supply, and draws less than 350mA, than it can
be powered directly from pin 1 of the NX3M1X’s
connector.
